Welcome to Salt'n Burn, a fanart site run by galathea, hosted at misplaced.co.uk. Here you will find wallpapers, banners and icons from various TV shows as well as movies. You can also find some fanartist resources here, like texture and gradients. I hope you'll find them useful.

Quick Update: As promised I made a wallpaper based on my new layout. It's called 'Paint Me Blue' and I am extremely happy with how this one turned out. Probably my best work so far in this year.

I removed a couple of my older textures, but also added 5 new textures. I hope you find them useful in your art. Additionally I updated my Supernatural Essays section with a comparison between the X-Files and SN. Enjoy!

New Layout: Sorry for my long absence but I wasn't really in the mood for PS the last couple of weeks. But I come bearing gifts in form of new art and a new layout today. ;) My new layout features Jensen Ackles; I just couldn't resist the new images from the Mueller photoshoot. I am quite happy how this one turned out and I might make the layout into a wallpaper, although the images are only available in a pretty low resolution, so I'll have to work around that.

New Art: I also have 2 new wallpapers today: 'In The End' is about Sam in the aftermath of the S3 finale, burying Dean's necklace alongside his brother. 'Gunslingers' is a manip of Sam and Dean in the Wild West. I made this one for a time period challenge over at Buffyforums. Enjoy!

Art Update: Heh, seems like I manage 2 new wallpapers every 2 weeks! 'Shadow' is a simple character piece for Dean, that kind of accidentally happened when I was playing around in PS. *g* 'Aftermath II - Silence' is the 2nd wallpaper in a series of pieces that deal with the immediate aftermath of the fire for the remaining Winchesters, based on entries from John's journal. Enjoy!

Site Updates: I extended the Supernatural art section with the category 'Other Art' for pieces that don't quite fit into one of the other categories, such as art based on written material, rather than the show for example. I also updated my resource section.

For those who wonder if my tagboard isn't working: Due to massive spamproblems I needed to change my filter settings for a while, so tagboard entries that exceed a certain length are screened. I'll check that filter daily though, so any visitor message caught up there, I'll add manually to the tagboard again, so don't hesitate to enter something. Sorry for the inconvenience, as soon as the spam attack is over, I will return to my old settings!

I have a new affiliate. Antoinette's site Degreenify hosts mainly art from Supernatural and the Whedonverse. So hop over and pay her a visit!
