Welcome to Salt'n Burn, a fanart site run by galathea, hosted at misplaced.co.uk. Here you will find wallpapers, banners and icons from various TV shows as well as movies. You can also find some fanartist resources here, like texture and gradients. I hope you'll find them useful.

This site is best viewed in IE 7+ and Firefox/Mozilla with a 1024x768 resolution. If you encounter any problems during your stay, please be so kind to drop me a message or a mail, so I can take care of that!

A huge thanks goes to Nikki who was so kind to host me at Misplaced, as well as to Rosely who did most of the coding for this page! Thanks as well to all my friends over at BuffyForums that nagged me to get a site up and running, without them this site would have never come into existence.

Art Update: Heh, seems like I manage 2 new wallpapers every 2 weeks! 'Shadow' is a simple character piece for Dean, that kind of accidentally happened when I was playing around in PS. *g* 'Aftermath II - Silence' is the 2nd wallpaper in a series of pieces that deal with the immediate aftermath of the fire for the remaining Winchesters, based on entries from John's journal. Enjoy!

Site Updates: I extended the Supernatural art section with the category 'Other Art' for pieces that don't quite fit into one of the other categories, such as art based on written material, rather than the show for example. I also updated my resource section.

For those who wonder if my tagboard isn't working: Due to massive spamproblems I needed to change my filter settings for a while, so tagboard entries that exceed a certain length are screened. I'll check that filter daily though, so any visitor message caught up there, I'll add manually to the tagboard again, so don't hesitate to enter something. Sory for the inconvenience, as soon as the spam attack is over, I will return to my old settings!

I have a new affiliate. Antoinette's site Degreenify hosts mainly art from Supernatural and the Whedonverse. So hop over and pay her a visit!

Art Update: I have 2 new wallpapers today. With 'Wayward Sons' I tried a different style, a brush based collage, that features the Winchester boys, using the newly released S1 promos. 'Unexpected Allies' is a really simple black&white blend from Jus In Bello, that deals with Henriksen's conversion from foe to ally. Enjoy!

I also have a new affiliate. Amy over at Sweet Escape has a wonderful collection of art from various, mostly fantasy themed, TV shows. Her work with textures and colours is just fabulous. Go and check her out!

Art Update: Only one new wallpaper today, I was a bit busy the last couple of days and didn't get around to open PS. 'Legacy' deals with the S3 finale and its aftermath for Sam. For a more extensive explanation just read up on my thoughts. *g*

Other Updates: I updated the S1 review page with a review for Dead Man's Blood, added a couple of SN banners and some awards I won over the last couple of weeks. I also removed old links and affiliates, with dead links.

The lovely Deavon over at No Bad News made Salt'n Burn her first ever Site of the Month for June! Thank you so much for the fun award and the flattering words you found for my art!! *blushes*
